| Work experience: | We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer in our Bearing Group facility located in Cixi, China. This person will be responsible for designing ball bearings, tapered roller bearings, etc for the automotive industries. Included in this function will be developing design improvements by planning and conducting appropriate R&D.A strong background in bearing fundamentals is required. | ||
| Responsibility: | Create test programs and write reports reflecting results Create and present technical papers Interact with customers via teleconferences and occasional visits Support bearing manufacturing operations Identify and specify new areas of improvement on existing designs Ensure approved systems are implemented as designed, and achieve returns predicted | ||
| Job Requirements: | 7-10 years engineering experience or a combination of experience and education Design engineering experience preferred Bearing experience preferred Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to read, follow and interpret documents such as safety policies and programs, OSHA standards, and operating procedures Ability to write routine reports and effectively present information to management Demonstrated ability to take the initiative to solve problems Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team Demonstrated ability to use good judgment when dealing with confidential information Ability and willingness to work evening and weekend hours when necessary Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form Must be able to read Mechanical Prints Proficiently with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Ability to learn bearing technology Knowledge of process development Must be able to effectively communicate in English in both written and verbal form | ||
